oh man thats cool to see how you refinished those, nice job man!

not to derail your thread but..

I'm working on some Supra rims now, was thinking of doing that kind of bronze with gun metal inner sections but the supra's I'm working with are really dirty. lots of oxidization and brake dust caked on really badly. Looks like I'm going to need to brake out the heavy duty wire brush and power drill.

Any tips on finishing? fixing piths and spray methods? I'm totally new to painting

so far I've sanded all the surface stuff down, the inner spokes are a bitch though, lots of tight areas I need to get cleaned out with a wire brush. They're looking better then before but they probably need alot more work. Maybe I can take a pic of them and get your opinion on where to go next?

Well i was puttin in my 550s the other day and I was doing some wiring. Well i dropped butt connector and heard tink tink. I was like wtf, where did it go. I searched for an hour and couldnt find it.

Two scenerios, 1. just lost it 2. Fell into the tiny inj bung hole ... yes bunghole

So I debate everything, poke around see nothing, take the intake off poke around see nothing. I figure well **** me, i prolly just lost it. So I continue to assemble. Start car and BANG BANG BANG. Promptly turn off car, sit down and have a smoke.

So anyway ... at this point im more annoyed than anything cause i noobed myself. So i order head gaskets and ****in **** and start tearing down. Head comes off and low and behold theres a tiny butt connector mashed up against the head. No head dmg, no piston dmg just some damaged pride.

I am in this mad rush to goto luskville to get some 12s and since I have no garage and only a dirt driveway this was what I was dealing with.

OH and don't worry I caught alot of the fluids with a flying saucer from last winters sledding day.

Stop whining, people run 9s in street cars at Luskville. Why aren't you running 9s yet? How much boost did you end up tuning for with the 16G, or did you do much tuning yesterday?

Lengthen the injector pulse a millisecond. Just tune the NOS timer, you'll run nines.

Chris Tapp has run 9s there in 3 of his cars... I'm pretty sure he ran a high 8 in his talon... But he is kinda nobody, so you have half a point.

The cluster looks good during the day, the only problem is at night when you signal to turn or turn on the high beams and the ultra-bright LEDs burn your retinas and you can't see.
