Definitly ceramic coat that ****, ceramic is amazing for how well it insulates. Think of my battery setup, i've had zero heat problems so far and I still havn't gotten around to making that heat shield for the header.

As for your welds they look pretty good but hopefully you can get in there really well to clean up the insides of those pipes. I know so many people who welded up their own hardpipes and then had a piece of slag go through their turbo.

Looking good steve, this thing should keep you out of trouble this winter

This winter? haha I wanna drive this in a month! lol

As for driving it long distance I think that'll still be a ways off too many things to buy and not enough budget unless the tax man is REALLY good to me next year lol I plan on having the Brakes addressed before its on the road but it still needs a full suspension treatment, long term wheels/tires,

Stupid server firmware and microcode updates and for some silly reason they don't like interrupting making millions of dollars during production hours to update it lol

can't you get donuts out there?

Very cool either way. Should look pretty hot once they're ceramic coated.

those look like they're almost be tight enough radius but no, even the stainless i have i bought from Acestainless.com in the states as I haven't been able to find any Stainless suppliers who'll sell to a private individual. besides 2.5" stainless 90's are like $15each, straight tubing is like $8/foot and I can get close to 4times the bends for half the money with pie cuts. Little labour intensive but its good practice for welding too!

*EDIT* OUCH those donuts are $60 a pop

The collector is cool. Do you smooth your welds inside all these pieces? I'm always curious if people do.

Yup those are carbide die grinder marks you see, i don't bother going super smooth but I just make sure there's no slag, protrusions or sharp edges etc
