    LED headlights for ae86

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on LED headlight conversions. There's a guy in Nanaimo here that's selling these http://www.lightbeamz.com/product-pa...7-1fb9e336a71a. They seem decent but I'm skeptical if they are actually legal or not. It would be cool if they are tho lol. Let's hear some thoughts and maybe feedback from people who have run something similar.

If they actually are DOT compliant, I'd be curious as to see how well they work. Especially, since it looks like it'd actually fit in AE86 buckets (unlike some high/low HID kits). But at almost $500 a pair, I'm not THAT curious about it. Do you have photos of it actually in use?

A few companies make these now. I think if you bug Lordco enough, they have a GE or Philips version somewhere.

I actually picked up a pair and tried to install them but I could only get them working in either high or low beam. Not both. They have DOT and SAE emblem on them. But I couldn't get them to function properly at all. I returned them and he gave my money back and swears he could get them to work. But it's only three wires and there isn't that many possible combinations so I should have gotten them to work somehow lol. But I couldn't

I have these on my Corolla with an HID kit from DDM. I think I may swap to an LED bulb at some point. These work very well and have a great pattern.
