    compression

    Hi i have a 3tc and was wondering what is the highest compression ratio I can go. If i want to run the car on pump gas like 91 octane.

    What carb are you using? Stock cam or bigger?

    I'm going to use 40 DCOE weber side drafts and i want to use a 235 duration @.050 .268 lobe lift cam.
    with the paradise racing stage 4 3tc head.

    Did you ask paradise what they'd recommend for compression based on that cam or did you just buy a head? You'll also need to talk to the cam manufacturer and find out what they'd suggest. There are are lot more factors to this than you're aware of. I suggest you look up David Vizard and read his books on engine building.

    Mainly for the theory behind it. There are mostly books about building v8 engines but it's the stuff like cam overlap and calculating CR that you should read. Also, a quick search on dk will show you some good information.
