I'm sure 17" rims are more expensive and the rims are a named brand? But I picked up Kumho ecsta MX's and new rims for just under 900 dollars. So asking for 600 pick up? Really how much are you guys paying for stuff out in BC? For used price's to start out so steep?

well it's pretty simple to add things up, both items are available in BC at Volcotires, which uses this website www.1010tires.com

http://www.1010tires.com/tire.asp?tirebrand=Kumho&tiremodel=Ecsta+711
the tires @ 205-40-17 are 109.99 each, so 501.44 after taxes for all 4. and then there is a tire levy 5 dollars a tire (?) so it's 521.44 for 4 tires mounting 17" tires are $20 a pop (it's more expensive than mounting 15", ask any shop for quotes) and tax to the labour it's 91.20, so that's 612.64 dollars for the tires alone.

http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?wheelbrand=American+Eagle&wheelmodel=196+%2D+Gun+Metal
now come to the wheels, we can use Eagle Alloys model 196 since it's not chromed it's priced relatively similar - 17 by 7.5 it's at $129.99 a wheel so that's 592.44 for a set taxed in.

so wheels and tires together you are looking at 1205.39 dollars for these items new.

so yes the wheels are lookin' used but the tires are near new condition and I'm asking half of retail..... you call that steep. :odd:

As for tire price's in BC yes I would call that steep (new or used). Considering I paid just under 600 dollars for 4 MX's (including mounting, balancing, tire tax etc....) and yes they are 15" tires, but I could've had 711 for just over 400 dollars brand new. I chose to upgrade thats all. As for the rims you got me there, I'm not in the market for 17" rims and never will be. So I really don't know what price's would be for rim so that parts sounds fair.
