i've got a white AE92 GTS with 250kms on it... i bought it kuz i wanted the engine out of it, and i was told that "it was a bucket of junk" by the previous owner... upon further inspection, it is a beater, however, it runs, and drives quite nice...

i've now decided to part this thing out as it'll cost more to time to fix up, than i'm willing to put up with...

the good:
good, quiet, smooth shifting transmission
almost complete, fair condition red interior with no rips or tears
front fenders
hood
trunk lid with spoiler
4 wheels and tires
brakes (stop VERY well)
straight suspension (soft, but drives straight)
motomaster battery (previous owner installed it 2 days before sale)
interior electronics
cruise control (not sure if it works or not)

the bad:
engine leaks oil (but i'm keeping it anyways)
needs alternator (charge light on, and previous owner stated it's bad)
clutch near the end of it's life
2 big dents, one on each quarter panel behind the doors
cracked windshield
broken left rear quarter window (held together with duct tape and window tint)
left front marker light out (clear light out, lens not cracked)
exhaust leaks and clunks (muffler and hanger bracket missing)
front bumper's been pushed in (looks like it rear ended somebody)
many dash lights burnt out
sunroof doesn't really work (needs motor or something)
needs centre console lid (plastic flex hinge broken)
needs some SERIOUS interior shampoo (previous owner was a pothead alcoholic)
misc burnt out light bulbs
broken left e-brake cable

all prices are OBO

here are some of the major items
engine - taken
transmission $100 - pick up only dibs dave_21
skirts $100 - SOLD TO LGman
interior $300 (including carpet, dash board, steering wheel, door panels and window cranks) - pick up only

doors $150/pair pick up only (comes with manual window regulators and glass - right door has slight dent)
hood $50 - pick up only
fenders $50 each - pick up only dibs dave 21
spoiler with center brake light $40
trunk lid $40 (or with spoiler for $60) - pick up only
rear bumper $50 - pick up only
sunroof panel $100 - pick up only - dibs dave 21
wheels and tires $150 (with 30-50% P175/70R13 tires) - pick up only

feel free to ask about other parts

ae92 zenki (88-89) = bigport
ae92 kouki (90/91) = smallport

The "smallport" engines were only made for 2 years. However, I've heard that the ae101 Levin GZE is a smallport GZE.

Narfy's latest bucket is a bigport.... otherwise he would be parting it for sure.

If you part it out narfy.. I'd be interested in the rear calipers.. maybe the fronts too. LMK. :)

How are the seats in it, driver and passenger? Oh wait..this is a white one, so the interior is red, right? If so..no thanks. ;)

The other guy DOES want them. :)

BTW Narfy, how about the Cat? how good did it pass E-test/aircare?? if the cat is OEM and its still in decent shape, you can also throw it in the box for me. :D

i don't mind sending you the cat, it's OEM, but i doubt i can separate it from the front pipe... but i'll try...

it passed, not too shabby, iirc... but i'd like to see if i can get it jigged, and then have a one off high flow cat flanged "pdm style" for my 1990 GTS...

ren, pm me about the parts you want, and what you'll realistically offer me for them...

REN69
05-04-2006, 05:41 PM
That's basically what I want to do too, buy a high flow cat from magnaflow or whatever and get it flanged. :)

I'll probably just end up doing it anyways with my own cat. as for the parts.. don't know dude.. what do you think you want for them?? are they in decent shape or are they still the originals that came with the car? :o :( let me know.

narfy

all 4 calipers seem to work just fine, altho the left side e-brake cable is snapped... the left rear caliper e-brake arm moves freely without bind, and is currently in the "open" position...

brake pad wear all around is even...

the cat is teh original cat, and i don't know if it'll want to come off the front pipe willingly, but i havn't started stripping it yet... i've got faar too many things on the go right now...

okay, i'm gonna start taking this thing apart next week... and i want it gone ASAP as it's gonna be stripped at 86tuning... if you guys want anything off this car, LMK VERY soon... otherwise, i'm yankin' the stuff i want out of this thing, and towing it away...

REN69

A. No they won't fit.
B. the brakes already have my name on them anyways.. so even if they did fit, they're already mine. :o :e
