Hello,

I am selling a set of :
four 205/50 ZR 15 Pirelli PZERO Asimmetrico tires
with about 80% tread left
mounted on
15x6.5 +35 offset 4x100 Hikari Racing wheels.

I am selling these because I gave away my project car and have no immediate plans to own a car at all.

These tires are special order (because this size is unavailable in North America) and came direct from Italy. I paided around 1000 CDN for them in February of 2004. The wheels were bought in January of 2004 for about 600 CDN for a total of 1600 purchase price. I am asking for $800 OBO and here is why:

Here are some pictures of one of the wheels I took after a rinse with water:

In the last year and a half, I have driven on this set for about 4 months of occasional commute (10-20km) and have been to Mission Raceway Park three times for a total of about 4 hours of track time. I have tried them out on a 1990 AE92 Corolla GT-S (the car I gave away) and a 1990 Civic Si Hatchback.

Two out of three track days were in torrential downpour. I remember the first day I went on the track with these, I understeered only once the entire day when I didn't brake going into turn 4 (which for those of you know who River's Edge course would know that I would've understeered anyways).

With the automatic Civic on my last track day with these tires, it was sunny and I kept up with a late 80's 5.0 Mustang all the way around the track (he was faster on the straights of course).

So I have experienced the awesome grip they have in heavy rain and the dry.

Having said that, I wouldn't say that I've pushed the tires to 100% even on that dry track day because I always had to wait for the automatic transmission to downshift therefore a lot of acceleration time was lost. The 4 months of commuting was rainy and I always took it slow in traffic.

The wheels don't have any major damage. There appear to be scratches from pebbles and other highway debris.

As you can check on the Pirelli websites, this size isn't carried in Canada or the US.

Pirelli Canada (http://www.ca.pirelli.com/en_CA/tyres/catalog/tyre_category.jhtml?catid=CAE_UHP&productid=2897)

Pirelli US (http://www.us.pirelli.com/en_US/tyres/catalog/tyre_category.jhtml?catid=US_UHP&productid=2603)

Here are some websites to check prices against with the 16inch model or the 225/50/15 model:

TireRack - Called PZERO System (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Sizes.jsp?make=Pirelli&model=PZero+System)

TireTrends - Called PZERO Giallo (http://www.tiretrends.com/catalog2.php3?tireID=313)

Once again, I am looking for $800 CDN OBO. I have receipts. I am not willing to trade for anything car related (for reasons stated above) but I am open to interesting offers. I am not willing to sell the tires or wheels by themselves so the buyers will have to sor that out themselves. Please email me if you are interested at mr_jack_sam@hotmail.com

Best,
Jack

It's been a while but I remember they were under 15 pounds. I know the wheel/tire combo weighs 35 pounds.
