If it makes any difference I would like to interject.
RB20's are a really good motor and a lot of people don't know it.
I really like my sr20 but as soon as it blows you can bet I won't get another one.
RB20's have an awesome bang for your buck, i like the inline 6 aspect, and they sound sweet.
RB has more hp than an SR and is less than half the price.

Just my 2 cents.

Listen to Drader, rb owns the sr20 and for way cheeper. Tell your friend to consider it and do some reading on it. I have a couple friends that have done it in their 240's, it's a great motor for a very low cost.

RB ftw. SR's don't sound nearly as good and are overplayed, hence why they're more expensive. Rob, do you know Colin (works at jb's on calgary tail) by any chance?

I'm not friends with him, met him once I think. Heard lots of stories though cause my good buddy worked there for a while. why you ask?

He ran an rb-powered 240 last season, thought you might know him. Pretty beastly car, not the prettiest thing out there though haha.

is that price plus shipping to edmonton? with reasonable price means he doesnt have to go to a shop to buy it and get charged an arm and a leg and wait for it after 6 months...

i will pass that along... to him if anything

My friend stuck a gt35 on a bone stock rb20 and ran the **** out of it with a mircotech. Tranny went before the engine. Put down over 320whp on the rollers. I rode in it on the street and it was **** fast even with the clutch slipping whenever boost hit. It sounded f'kn sick with open wastegate too.

Nothing to do with this thread of course.
