Some shots from the meet here in Victoria...perfect weather!

Need better RAW conversion software...Didn't bother to clean up the dust spots either. I just wanted to get these online for you guys. If anyone wants full size pics of their car, just ask (and let me know which, still learning who's car go with which person).

Dude showed up outta nowhere, seemed to be surprised that a bunch of guys were standing around other assorted old Toy's and cheering for his old Rolla.
Oh, and Chris; thanks for letting me play with your lens! I definitely think a zoom with a 200mm reach will help with track side photography whenever I get out there. Thanks again!

Thanks again for being there to take some good photos. I guess the yates street parkade is a bust, but i still think we should have just ignored the security gaurd. Clover point turned out to be a better place any who, except for the danger of kites.

And I'm broke.

Used the trial version of Bibble lite, and I really liked their layout, so I think I may stick with Bibble anyways when I get a new job/tax return.

I think thats a good idea, we could role by the log house. We went there a while ago, decent food and its on the way back into town/the highway to the ferries.
And yes its a lightbulb ill be changing it tomorrw, cause it does leak a bit. Not from the light end though, from where its clamped on the pan. I tried tightening it, but it didnt seem to help.

cool meet everyone!

its always nice when there is a good turnout of people and cars. The weather couldn't have been better, it brings out the girls:thumbsup:.....and even some we didnt want to see ahah
Food was followed but some pretty fun driving....:leaving:

As for the wheels on the SUPERCHARGED coupe the are 15x10 no clue on off set and 225's fronts might be 8j

Scott can your camera shoot RAW and JPEG at the same time? As well as maybe some contrast settings in your camera because those look pretty dull even for RAW.

Chris that B+W pic would be very era perfect if you got the celica in it

good meet every one lets do it again soon:cheers2:

mmm?, not sure if i have anyother pics.
oh, however!
i am using 1/4 " spacers up front aswell, becasue i didnt want the wheels to stick out tooo far , i played it safe with the 4.5 bs up front.
if your running cby's you can probably get away with 4" bs with 15x8's on the front.
oh ya and my tire sizes;
front-195/50/15 toyo proxey 4's
rear-225/50/15 toyo proxey 4's
talking to makl at the meet he said that he just sqeezed on 205/50/15 onto his 15x10's?.....
i got a set ready to go on, if its true though.
if you havent begun the journey to fitting these ubsurd wheels, you may want to double think.
not to insult your intelligance(spelling?) but you neeed to take off ALOT of metal in the rear and weld it back together, bash the FAck out of your wheel well up front, cut out ALOT of metal in the front fenders and you'll still get major rubbage under load.
CBY's are garbage.period.
go anyother route than these.

It was the RAW conversion software that I was using.

I'm trying out lightroom 2, and went a we bit beyond just converting this one though:

Made the minty ass Starlet even more minty fresh!

I don't know why I even bother going through the trouble of "Fake DK" license plates though. Pain in the ass to make them look "good".

Haha Fitment won't be an issue, My front fenders are already flared (check build thread) and rears are getting done this weekend.

I'm thinking about going with a 15x9 -25/-19 and 15x10 -12 rear. I'll have to measure this weekend and use an offset calculator

sorry for the OT.

yea its a Friday, aren't you going to CApdrift? i saw a video with you drifting in it. you bought Mako's old car right? and how do you know about my dark blue car? lol i think you mean my battleship grey one with purple wheels? that one is staying home, i dont even want to attempt to get it onto the ferry. i've actually thought about boarding the ferry with the front bumper out of the sunroof hahaha. the ugly track car is coming to play. the event is at 4, so i'd probably be down for a late lunch, 1-2ish? i think i'm coming over with greenie so well see which ferry we catch and if my car is still getting put together that morning.

you better come out and rep island drifting because the mainland is coming over to **** your **** up!

ya, thats right mako's old car.
i'm trying desperately to get out of work for that friday, but am on a super tight scedule for time off, working huge overtime now,so we'll see.
just seen your car in photos, and your avatar.
am suppper stoked to meet chris(greenie) we really need more experienced guys over from van to push us and grow our confidence.....but not too much ,hahaha.
would love to see your grey car in person, i have heard alot about it from sean.
hope to see you guys then!

dammit, so Sean told you about how my grey car looks 100x better in pictures? lol jk. get sean to come out drifting, doesn't he have 3 cars or something? yea im excited to see how you island guys do it, but there don't seem to be many people drifting. and don't worry, i kinda consider myself noobish at drifting too. ive been doing it for a while, but very on and off, its very money/girlfriend/other hobbies permitting. Is derek coming? haven't seen him since the summer and hes rocking a wagon as well now?
