Two vids, the first is a few of DK types..

The second shows how epic your run can made to look with enough camera mounts. It wasn't actually epic..

Anyone else get any shots or vids?

NICE vids chris! This was definitly one of the funnest autoXs I've done so far. Glad to see Brett finally driving the car he built. Next time we've got to get even more DKers out. Chirs, your car sounds awesome!

I'm glad I made it into this set!! That was my final lap right?

Chris:
Watch the first video near the end. Notice how when my car comes around the little hairpin before coming back up the hill there is a ker-plunck noise. I heard that in my car on all hard right hand corners. I only noticed on my last two laps.

1 - thanks for the vids man, I was wondering if someone got anything..

2 - I -hate- watching video of me racing... lol.. it always looks like we're going 30 kmh, gently putting about among a field of cones.. even @ the inside line @ mission speedway, when I know I was doin 100-120kmh in some places, it looks like you're almost not movin..

can't wait to do more.. was friggin awesome.

Yeah, we kept hearing funny business from your suspension everytime you went over the bump on the midfield. It would interesting to do a jounce test on a drive-on hoist and try to see if its nothing or if its something loose.

I'd love to get out to one of these, any links to info where I can find out a bit more? I have a neighbour with a couple caterham 7's I know he autocrosses, but I'm not sure if these are the same events.

lol, Im slow as frig there, but was getting faster by a second or so each run I took.. so thats ok..

a question.. one of my run is shown as 65.xxx+1 .. so I get that the +1 is a cone .. and theres a 2 second penalty for a cone hit .. but does that mean my run was 65.xxx and then +2 seconds, or was it a 63 second run and the time shown includes the penalty?

.. and does DNF add a time penalty? 'cause I know I missed a gate on each of my first 2 runs.. but they're timed waaaaay higher than my other runs..

very fun stuff though..

Well DNF means did not finish so it essentially doesn't count due to missing a gate. Each one where its +1 means one cone which equals a two second penalty. So if the time beside it is say 65+1 that means its actually counted as 67.
