What happens if your Car's not working and you can't get to work to look at those archives on the computer?

you go to your friendly local toyota dealer ship order a 1985 corolla rwd full service manual its as big as a university text book and covers every detail of the car.. i got mine for 60 new.. not sure what they run for now. in the states you can get other years as well i beleive.

by archives I mean the library we have of wicked old manuals.

i might just have an 87 FR manual sitting in the back of my car right now :rolleyes:

your title is misleading, I thought it was the ae86 tuning bible.

there are many links which I and many other users have posted numerous times all over this forum to download a pdf of both the electrical and mechanical service manual. print it out, it will cost you 5-10 bucks of ink if you do it at home. or better yet go to your local high school, lol.

that manual is overpriced and is the older version. to the best of my knowledge there are 2 (own 2 different ones at least, there might be more). the new one has a shiny cover and is black/white/yellow. I dont know if the context is different however.

Working at a dealer that's in the midst of technological change over to the computer stuff ETAS is a plus, take all the manuals you need.. but thread title is totally misleading.
