Hey, so as alot of you guys know I am moving back to BC as soon as I get my house sold or rented here in Edmonton. So check it out this is your chance to own or rent the Hot Mess Garage!

2 bedroom bungalow with rec room/3rd bedroom in basement. Great starter home for the price, fantastic huge fully fenced back yard, close to several schools and parks as well as walking distance to Safeway and other amenities.
Features include: newer laminate flooring, extra large single car garage heated and wired with 100 amp and 220V (great workshop space), paved parking space/RV spot in back, partially finished basement with laundry area and rec room or extra bedroom. Fully fenced yard with wood patio. The property has newer appliances and high efficency furnace/hotwater tank, and is perfect for a small entry level home.

I am asking $249,000 for the house or if you are looking to rent it will be $1200/month plus utilities.
No smoking, pets on approval. One year lease prefered.

Would there be any legal/zoning reason I couldn't buy it and expand the garage to 3-4 times it's current size... I would dig a 2 bedroom house with a 40x60 shop out back. lol. Seriously tho, I'm not moving to Alberta until I'm done school, and even then it would probably be Calgary. GLWS.

different sides of the country, different prices... a house that size goes for at least $150,000k down here (not $100k carthik), well in toronto it probably be $200k.

Out here it would be double that

Not gonna lie
west coast has it the worst but generally real estate prices are up
my familys house was quoted at 450k this year when we paid 190k in 2002

aye... too bad you're leaving. The economy is just starting to recover though, so it'll be good times here again soon. You sure you wanna leave so soon after arriving? It's always nice to have another crazy corolla guy in town.

you could always locate yourself like 45mins to a hour out of the city and actually own a home?
