So I was the only one who showed up in a Toyota save for Chris Zarft in his MRS Spyder and Derrick in his TE72 wagon.

It rained, I drifted. I also took a ride in an S2000. Wow! It wasn't so much the power but the brakes that I could not believe. If I could brake that hard and effectively.....holy sheite!

Video from all 3 cameras to follow.

good runs chris! at least good given the conditions.

looks like you could use some smaller tire sidewalls.. still running an open diff too?

Nope, running a TRD 2way now, It kicks ass except that today it also made me float all over the damn place. I deflated the tires slightly after a few runs just trying to salvage some form of traction. End of the day knocked 3 seconds off.

Smaller sidewalls? Tough thing to do with my wheel size. They don't typically make good 14" tires in 50 series. As it is the azenis don't fit so I'll be destroying the rear lips to fit them. More money to have it filled and repainted.

Most people don't quite understand how little room there is to run most of the wheels you guys find easy to fit on ae86 bodies. These cars are so much smaller.

warren had great luck with his sumi HTRs, and they come in virtually every side imaginable.

I just looked and the HTR doesn't come in anything usable for the te21.

On the positive side you got me thinking so I just checked and Toyo makes the T1R in 195/45r14. Maybe????

I must admit I get worried about having to much stiffness and no chance to progressively load a tire. Can make them break loose too quickly.

I hate htr 200s, they don't grip in the dry, don't grip in the wet. Then don't even spin easy when they are bald. Don't die so I never really have to get nice tires. But I like 185/60/14 on a 7j.

yeah ive had the same set of htr200s on my corolla for a couple years now. Its even worse with a 1600lb car, they just "scuff"
