Any returns/exchanges will be buyer's responsibility with Seibon USA. The best deal I can find so far is $640 shipped to USA and you will not be getting a better deal anywhere else in Canada.

If you got any other questions fire them my way. Accepting payments NOW.

Buyer is responsible for dealing with Seibon directly for fitment / quality issues. Glass refitting from your existing hatch can be had for $150 taxed in Richmond (appointment required).

This is how the fitment looks like of the Seibon hatch I just fitted to the car:

As with any CFRP/FRP products the fitment isn't 100% but it's 99.9% (see the "dip" on the hatch for what I mean it's 0.1% off) All factory hardware will go onto this hatch except you will need to drill the hole for the wiper arm and drill a hole for the key cylinder if you prefer to keep those. If you are into the clean look your CF hatch is now self-opening with decent factory hatch struts when you release the latch from the driver's handle.

PM me to make arrangements for payments so I can put you on the list of recipients. If you need other Seibon parts for other makes / models feel free to ask I can set it up as part of this group buy too!

you should couple the groupbuy with hoods, I'm sure there is more interest in those.

I am interested in the hatch and possibly a hood too, will let you know if I can afford it closer to the close date.

09-01-2011, 12:47 PM
I'm putting the hood part on hold for now because we are going to go ahead and experiment with buying 1 piece of each and test the fitment and turn around time to give you more accurate information in a week's time.

Stay tuned.

btw, I have a friend with a 2000 Civic SiR who wants to buy a CF hood. if you are able to order Honda stuff, would that help with overall group buy pricing?

09-28-2011, 06:56 PM
interested in hearing what happens with the hatch lid, I'd like to know what the total cost would come out to with lexan rear glass installed with it as well.

09-28-2011, 09:02 PM
We are in the process of getting the first one in and see how the turn around time is like and update to this thread. Will keep you posted.

09-29-2011, 11:59 PM
I'm interested in a new hood... are you going to buy one and then go from there or are you just talking about trunks now?

10-03-2011, 05:25 PM

the hoods and hatch are great for fittment. From my expierience the doors are ok they line up with the lines of the car no problem but the main problem is fitting the rubber for the windows and the outer trim pieces. the channels for the glass rubber are too narrow wich then pinch the glass and make it difficult for the glass to go up and down. this can all be fixed with a die grinder and about an hour of your time. but be patient when doing it.

10-09-2011, 08:14 PM
The door i have fit awesome, like Adam said, the window seal is abit hard to fit due to the thickness of teh CF, wut i did to make it fit nice is just sanding the edge down abit, and add seom silicon then it fits nicely.

hey patric, how much weight loss is in thoes CF hatch with OE glass?

10-09-2011, 08:43 PM
should be in the neighbourhood of 20lbs saved without replacing the glass to light weight material.

10-13-2011, 12:45 PM

10-18-2011, 10:55 AM
Price on doors please.

10-18-2011, 02:28 PM
@thumper I don't think it'd be feasible to ship the doors out East...

@LiuC I say 20lb is gone from that hatch....it's amazingly light....like lift the whole thing on 2 fingers light.

10-18-2011, 09:56 PM
and you are still using a glass window right?

10-21-2011, 11:47 AM
yes the glass window fits onto the featherlight frame without any issue whatsoever.

Many PMs no one serious. Come on there's no deal if there aren't 5 pieces coming through...

10-24-2011, 02:51 AM
Accepting payments right now. Put yourself on the spot now so you won't miss out on this great deal!

10-24-2011, 11:31 PM
bump, added list of interest and finalized the price on the $ASK items.

10-29-2011, 01:57 AM
About 2 weeks until deadline! Remember the deposit is 100% of the sale price and we need 5. Make payments at Aria Auto and the shop guarantees full refund if this does not go through.

11-02-2011, 09:04 AM
Remember the deadline is 13 days away!

11-07-2011, 10:09 AM
Bump for only about a week until we close this order. Regular price will ensue after the deadline.

11-13-2011, 02:37 PM
only 2 more days! If you come to the shop and ask to pay these prices before then we can still manage without a full order of 5pcs but it will take 2 months instead of 1...

After 15th the regular market mark-up will be in effect.
