** Edit ** Sold, thanks

Up for grabs is my semi-complete BEAMS swap. It's a black top, manual transmission version, so it has the titanium valvetrain, and higher horsepower and torque output.

Included:

the engine
full harness
ecu
unmolested airbox and the required sensors inside
W58 trans from a mk2 supra
Lower crossmember to fit the engine
boxes of odds and ends and spares to help things along

I'm hoping for $2250 for the set, but offers are always welcome.

Engine is currently at 86Tuning, harness, trans, etc is in my storage locker.

Damn, haven't seen you for a while. So tempting... buying a Ruckus vs BEAMS swap...

Same 'problem' I have... two wheels vs four

whats the semi complete?

needs bell housing? alt? starter?

Phunkshun

You'll need to either source a 4Runner bellhousing to get it to bolt on, or modify the W58 bell to get it to fit. The engine side is complete, but you'll need hardware, and other odds and ends to actually mount the engine in a car.

What's the particularly different about the 4r bh?

Phunkshun
03-26-2014, 10:33 AM
If I remember correctly, the bolt pattern is much closer on the 4R, and only requires modifying 1 bolt hole. The W58 needs an adapter plate, or several more holes modded.

That's pricey, I'm into mine for about the same possibly a little less, and mine came with the stock 6spd.
(That price includes my engine trans ecu, and buying the air box and bolt in kit)

I woulda bought this if it had the 6 spd for sure

would you be willing to part with the w58? and whatever parts for a manual conversion you have.

this seems like a solid deal to me. especially since there was a starlet floating around with no engine or trans.

I will trade my 1961 ford falcon for this. http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/rds/cto/4379898287.html straight trade.

PM me if interested.

Not really looking for another car, but I'd consider a trade for a motorcycle. Something sub-400cc would be optimum.

Bump it back up.

Buy this, and put it into something, someone! Sure, summer is the WORST possible time for a project build, but think how I feel? I can't afford to start a project while I'm sitting on this!

Rain is predicted to start falling the next couple days. It'll probably be sunny again in May, so grab your fall/winter/spring project bits!
