I have a 1uz for sale out of a 91' celsior. Only 150 000 km's on the amazingly running engine. I can get pics, videos, or whatever you need from me. It will still need to be pulled from the car. I can also get you the full harness (uncut), MAF, auto trans and anything else you think you may need. LET ME KNOW ASAP! I am looking for $1200 from it but i will listen to any fair offers. Call/ text me at 306 891 6707 or email me at schillerkid6@hotmail.com

To be fair, we don't know what the going price of a 1UZ is, in Saskatchewan. Sure they're plentiful here, so they're stupid cheap. But that might not be the case in the wastelands of of the prairies.

Also, it's a JDM 1UZ according to OP, don't know if there's any differences or not but it might count for something.

I've bought probably 6 or 7 1uz's over the last few years and the first one I bought in 06 I paid $2200 for then the remaining 6 I paid $300-600 for including 3 low mileage JDM ones with under 50,000km on them. The $2200 was from Vancouver and the others were here in southern alberta

Just for reference

I paid $500 for mine.

The JDM ones are the same mechanically, but i think they can have oddball ecus.

Do they also come in the AWD variant like the Aristo 1UZ does?

i honestly don't think $1200 is unreasonable. especially pulled and with EVERYTHING you need. including MAF, ecu, bellhousing (that you need for the manual trans swap), etc. If you want to look at it this way too, a wrecking yard will charge 500-600 bucks for the engine and unless you can sneak away with everything else you need, then they usually charge for the rest of what you are taking. Also, for those who think time is money, if you buy from me you don't have to pull the engine and waste hours of your life along with searching through the already barren wrecking yards of the SK. I am also up for any fair offers. So there is that...

Go list on craigslist

Kijiji is the craigslist out here. And for 1uz, the cars come up on salvage for around $500 all the time, and way closer to the major centers. Even if shipping was free, not worth it. Cutting up cars for parts ain't hard.
