Thanks for adding your pics too, Chris.
I am glad to have helped with your parts.
I disliked the Parking person, but we know she was just doing her job. I had planned on bribing the Security guys with some Tim Hortons coffee and donuts. But after talking with them I decided it was not going to help much.

Those Paladin Security guys were crazy. They came flying up behind me, cut me off and slammed on their brakes. Then they started harassing me and swearing at me and talking about how they could impound my car and take my license away. I was just like "yeah ok, sure, uh huh, okay" and they "escorted" me out of the lot. Normally I would've argued but I didn't want to piss them off and have them angry at the whole group.

By the way, they pulled me over and said I was "driving like a ****ing lunatic" because I went over the 30 kph speed limit. Oh well, I had fun for the few hours I was there. :)

I'm sorry to hear that things didn't go as smoothly as in years past. Did they have any 'reasons' like stunting or anything to lower the boom?

I would have liked to stop by but my daughter was sick and wasn't able to go out.

At least you had a sunny day and a pretty good turnout from the pictures I saw.

Dave.

Well he said I was driving like a maniac, which I was wasn't. I couldn't even get a word in because everytime I tried to speak he would just swear at me. I was going over 30 kph, but I wasn't driving recklessly, and that certainly doesn't justify his reaction. I guess it was a slow day for them :p

Sorry to hear that Cjo. Next time we will have to teach them a lesson.
I knew of some bad ass guys once who did not like RCMP much.
Apparently a lone female officer pulled them over one time. They got her gun away from her, then the put her head in the door window of her police car, and rolled it up so she could not move her head. Then they dropped her pants, and left her there in the middle of Cultas Lake on a busy summer afternoon.
Those guys would never bother us again. Ha ha ha.
Just kidding.
But obviously picking on one lone car is pretty wimpy. They would not try that with a whole crowd.

Sorry C-Jo I wasn't talking about you specifically. It seems like everyone had to clear out of the lot and we've never had a problem there before. I was just wondering what put the bee in their bonnet.

I think it was the illegal swap meet, that or they're attitudes and policies have changed a little since last year towards car meets in their lot. I think they called the parking ticket nazis bitch on us near the end there. That lady was insane! She just started handing out tickets like a machine. She got 4 of us before the rest of us cleared out then she drove over to where we were waiting and started taking down plate numbers. I talked to her before she handed out a single one and offered to get everyone to buy tickets but she wouldn't here any of it. Total bitch! Anyways. Either we'll have to find another place for meets in the future or we'll have to get tickets next time (2 bucks each). I don't think security will be as anal if we're not doing a swap meet.

My experince with secruity has allways been that there wanna be cops that couldnt get in so they have a supiority complex and try to use what little power they have to make them self fell bigger. We have one security guy here on campus(paladin security) he is just an ass when ever theres a fire alarm they come ripping across the parking lot and you will allways see him yelling at someone trying to charge them with some false clame while trying to arrest them for like **** all. All he is, is a hopped up tattoo covered skin head. All the ones you meet are usally asses, and the one that you dont meet are usally the good ones but they never bother you.
