I'd say do them. Raising the idle a hair to 850-1k also smooths things out a lot.

I've had cusco, trd and stock.

Stock is smooth, no vibrations.
TRD is some vibration/shaking at idle.
Cusco is even more iirc (harder than trd iirc, and lowers motor 10mm).

Sometimes the wire in the headlight/dimmer switch pops off the switch. Just a solder connection that can be reattached. Its happened to me, just soldered the wire back on and everything was back to...

It is dbw. But the sensor is mounted to the throttle body. In an emergency the cable will physically only open the throttle about 1/4-1/3.
