I need to set up my dash clock. when i start up the car it just shows all zeros then turns off immediately. How do i fix this or set up correctly.

i just pulled the engine , painted the block, redid the valve seals, piston rings and put new gaskets and seals on

is it alright to stuff something up the vacume tubes so there not sucking any air up and just leave the sensor were it is

How do you search something you know absolutly nothing about or even what it does ?
