Edit diode is fine in that schematic...
Aside from the power being drawn on the bottom and the ground being on top like some kind of circus sideshow it looks allright.
Sounds interesting.
One thing I’d like to point out as this gets further off topic: most silicon switches fail closed; so the BJT or FET you’re using to turn that relay on will act as a short...
Yeah I love sayal but it’s dangerous and I could definitely spend all my money there. Wait till you start making your own circuit boards with a laser printer and some ferric chloride.
I assume...
I’m curious, did you rewind the solenoid? Did it work?
My buddy who lives in his caravan just had a transmission solenoid die on him so I’m very interested
Yeah I think everything is still within a few feet of my desk, we could work something out.
That espc is probably an IO expansion, I think I have one too in my pcm
The resistance should be about 25% higher using the smaller gauge, which may prevent the solenoid from reaching the current required to achieve the desired flux density.
That being said usually...
Most people should be able to toss something together with an arduino, a speaker and some musical ability. It could even play the peppa pig theme.
So intercept the send and return to the dome...
hey if you can make a board I can probably get some code out of it.
you say you found an assembler for the tlcs9000?
e1 and a6 should have separate 15a fuses, but yeah, alwAYs on, direct to battery
---edit:
I had a flash of clarity on the ****ter: your confusion regarding E1: the E1 we're talking about is...
That power goes right to the ECU, it needs it to run the electric sub throttle (i guess) from the fuse labelling.
Also E1 will need a similar setup, off another fused 15A circuit.
looks good
just wire A6 through a fuse to battery positive. no switches or relays.
A6 (+BM) is definitely unswitched battery power.
The instructions you've quoted say to wire IG2 (injector and coil pack power) directly to the battery - that'd work fine however toyota wired them...
I have wired a few swaps and it's super easy, it just takes organisation and time. I haven't needed gauge clusters or ignition cylinders, but I've worked with older stuff that doesn't have...
Well after a week of silence I want to encourage you by saying at least I'M excited.
I know little about diesels in general and nothing about toyota diesels in particular though, so I'm of little...
So the typical toyota ecu from this era (well, more so earlier given my experience) is one microcontroller to run the engine, one microcontroller to run the transmission.
To validate some of this...
It looks a lot like the crystal is in the right place on the d151807 to conform to the qfp120 pinout in https://archive.org/details/tmp97c241/page/n1
Are you electrically inclined enough to check...
What's the board from specifically? And if it truly has some kind of interface port it may be programmable or at least readable - then you can disassemble it for the maps and mvoe them to something...
Yeah the one you have on that board is gonna be shipped with mask ROM or OTP ROM, certainly nothing that we can change.
The general strategy is always to run the chip in external mode (like...

this is the most I could get about the tlcs-9000 series of micros. it'd be a ground up custom job to get...

all the images ar ebroken, I'll see about getting something online later in the week maybe. Have to find all that **** again.
thanks! let us know how it goes, I have an interest in this system for the supra, given the lack of space around the V8 exhaust.
Takin' it back to the old school, cause I'm an old fool, who's so cool:
