Horray for whitey bends.

Turbo's looking pretty good, The only thing is are you absolutely sure that your manifold is gonna clear the brake booster, and also... if it does are you gonna be able to jam the downpipe down there.. You made it pretty close to the backside of the engine, I assume to clear the distributor... but I think that may be tooo close

    Anyways.. looking good.

I'm with Devin on this one.

If you want to cruise buy a Buick.

If you want pussy out and Drift with power buy a 240.

If you want to Drift and develop skills bend your Corolla.

dude i don't give a fat kittykatkittykatkittykatkittykat if i bend something on my corolla. I drift where I want and when I want and if I hit something and wreck it I fix it. Thats how you progress in driving skills i figure. push yourself to the extreme limit consistently and you will learn how to drive at the extreme limit.

do you think we learned everything that we pulled in these videos by going to the 3 drift events that there are in a year...obviously not.

I resent that you think a 240 is a powerhouse.

It looks like ive got a good 8" to the wall. That should be more than enough.
I've got a buddy running a T6/7 or something insain on his BMW and hes got like 6" to the firewall. He basicly has to go 90° down. I'll have way more room than that.
The brake booster is a ways away. Hahah...I had a coffee can mocked up where it should be, and I've got tones of clearance for everything. I guess we'll see when I drop it all in (drop it like its hot)

    Missing front aero of course.

Some turbo crap. The block with oil drain fitting welded in. Some of the turbo mocked up on my dads car.

Teh Damage. Fixed...but missing some haha. I'll have to return to the scene of the crime tomorrow and have a look in the light for a couple little chunks.

Aaaannnnddd.....dun dun dun. D*Garage bitches. This one is the first try...not perfect, but looking good. I'm making jigs and whatnot and should have 10 of these done in a long long while.

haha, just come into the garage next time. I pretty much live in there.
I was in there with JordanRolla doing a spring swap last night.

    As for my car.
The turbo lines are comming together. I've just got to get the oil feed figured out. I'm making all my own fittings, so I need to track some stuff down (like making making, I need some tap and dyes of wierd sizes and metal lathe skills).
Engine build is next. Nothing crazy, I'll probably just rebuild a head and throw it back together.

And I'm learning that it's pretty hard to drive a wide car. It's like driving a square down the road, it likes to rotate. The tires are nuts too, they like to break away and do not let you know about it. They don't really load up before they break...well, they do, but it's quick. It grips like crazy though. It's a beast. I'm getting really excited about this thing.
The car needs a lot more stiffness though, It's got lots of flex. Cage and braces oh my.
