    1987 MR2 (20 Vavle), White, Calgary

Due to a lot of stuff in my personal life, I have to sell my car. I bought the car in January 2006 and have been working on it ever since. I feel like I've just competed the project and am having to sell it. I bought the car just north of Edmonton and drove it back to Calgary, on the way I discovered the 16v needed a new water pump as it was overheating and not producing heat. The 16v was removed and the 20v swap was completed in spring 2006.

I've been driving the car everyday since with no problems. I've had the swap completed for a long enough time to work out all the bugs a car with a fresh engine swap sometimes has(running rich, no fast idle, exhaust too loud, etc). Now the car runs and drives like the engine was delivered from the factory. It starts fine in -20 weather, everything on the car works, all the electrical, mechanical, etc. It could use a windshield (as can most '80s Toyotas), and If your really picky, a paint job. The car has been re-sprayed by the previous owner, and the rust hasn’t gotten worse (or better (I wish!)) since I've had the car. I’ve ran the car with the velocity stacks only once in a while (maybe 10 days in total) each time just ‘cause I missed the sound. I use the stock air box and a filter on the end for daily driving, as it is quieter and easier on the engine. I’m selling the car for pretty much the money I put into it (not including the car itself).

Thanks, I've had pretty good interest in the car, a couple of people viewed it, and a couple that won't return PMs.
