Superghetto!! I had to cut them and make the uppers longer when I put in 2" blocks instead of the 1" blocks.
One more pic I realy like this one!

Those wheels are for sale if anyone is interested.

    Hmm slide a link?
I have seen how Tom of Tom's corolla page did his, these were just made of junk lying around to see if it would help. And it realy makes a huge difference. I thnk the best way would be a single link from the diff to the main hoop of the cage, real simple and real solid.

This tread is lacking in the custom parts department!!!!!!

dope custom hood, custom vents, cutom hood pins, custom old bondo.

Custom hydro ebrake, custom brake lines

Custom upper links, custom mounts, custom raised floor

    custom roll cage, custom spec

Custom steering parts, inc custom coilovers, custom brakes, custom custom

Haha that was fun, still not enough custom parts tho.
I just installed some eibach 500# front springs, and one more full lenght 2" x 5/16 leaf to the rear springs. I think it may need more sring in the back yet, I'll see on wednesday what it feels like. I also put my rear bar up to full stiff.
The panhard mount isnt doing so well, its starting to tear the spare tire tub apart no good. needs more custom parts I guess.

    cool race car numbers!!!

    This thread is still lacking
    needs mor custom

    light ter

since temp DK has all of my cool updates from the winter I need to post on my original building thread!! weeeeeee

much light er, 10 lb side impact beam

    seam welded

    super bracing

    more seam welding and gussets

    ooh lala

AGX and hybrid 4 link/leafspring setup, with CUSTOM orange panhard

sub frame conectors, if you are going to run 9.2 kg srings you'd better make sure your car is stifffff

I'm also thinking about how I can steal your identity and ransom it for your garage full of hot.

But I cant figure out how I'm going to get around posting my intent on the internet, so I guess its back to the drawing board...

My first attempt at a rack and pinion steering set up was total crap, probably due in part to the lack of custom parts.

original not so custom custom steering set up

    terible non custom steering geometrys

    more custom= more better

cooler more custom geometry, less ackerman, more angle, shorter steering arms.
This actually took alot of thinking and measuring to get to the desired charateristics.
It has proven to be ammmaaazzzinG so far, I love when a plan comes together!

I made my own steering arms, and used heim joints for the tierod end, now the entire front suspension is hiem jointed and the only stock suspension pick up point is the tension rod mount.

here is my modified rear sawy bar, I think i may neeed more rear abr still, but I need to get the spring rates balanced out first I guess, leafsprings are gay.

Here is the panhard mount, its all bolt on, a little weak, and now as I metioned earlyer is starting to tear teh spare wheel tub, boo urns
needs heim joint othe axel end as well.

    Mango and 86 chillin

I put 20 50 oil in my car once, it blew the filter apart!! mucho oil presure!!!

oh yaeh my header! its dope, svt focus 4-2-1 header, chopped up re-aranged, and still equal lenght!!!! sweet.

    Hahaha Dave ftw custom bonners!
I did some tunning tonight, turned up the timming a little, rebalanced the carbs at idle.
messed withthe idle mixture, tail pipe smells better again, less rich. and the plugs look better too, more brown less black.
