I've got some q's for you, I'll pm you. oh and if you want the pp its yours

Paul holy crap....I retract my statement of 70hp and I'm guessing you were probably only putting out 50hp with that crapheap of an engine. You are going to love having a nice tight new motor.

I know they love boost, but I love the crabs.
even with no boost, the 3t is a kick ass engine,
I have been thinking of an E town trip since reading about those 3 at pnp in edmonton, I have a couple options, but they are in cars still. and I'm impatient. does edmonton pnp have engine hoists? I just need the block, crank, rods really should be able to cary it out once stripped.
    How cold is it there?

It's an organized lot, they have engine hoists and wheelbarrows. the only carrying you need to do is from the wheelbarrow to your car. These blocks are damn heavy too lol cast iron overbuilt motherfackers.

I can't say that I like the crabs.

Or you could have said "sorry, my kidnap victims keep kicking my elbow, it made me drop my crack pipe and swerve"

    lol

Paul- you can have carbs and boost if you like. Either via pressurized webbers or a big holley marine carb.

From my research the webbers aren't that boost friendly, leaking throttle shafts amoung other things. The mikuni cv carbs I'm using are much better suited and cheap and easy to get parts for-every yamaha dealer can help you out with jetting etc etc.

The webbers have to be pressurized and prepared for boost. Once that is done properly they work great. There are a tun of 3tc guys running them with great success.

I don't know anything about these mikuni carbs. Did you have to pressurize them before boost? or it was just tunning and finding the right jet sizes?
