Driver side mostly done, shaping and grinding left

Pass side taking shape, I got the metal all tacked on last night too, it's almost at the same point as the ds fender

    Hammer time
My body jack technique wasn't working on the front fenders. Everything was just moving and flexing around.
So I busted out the hammer
I don't have a sand bag, so I used a foam mat, it lets the hammer sink in, supports the metal just enough, and let's you stretch the metal. Everything got pretty weird after a few passes. It totally changes the shape of the flare. And nothing lines up anymore, so I had the stretch the fender out front to back to get it to just sit on the car proper again. Then the fender opening was all wavy
Lots of hammering and moving metal around.
But so far I think it's awsome. So much better than just curved one dimensional curve.

I agree for a round car. Looking sweet dude.

Would you ever consider forming them off the car to not confuse the whole fender shape?

ya dawg. you did a great. i love it. you can never ever win with metal fenders on the front when shaping. iunno how some dudes do it...or if its all post body work and filler and stuff. s13 front fenders are paper and if you flare them at all they pull up and in. all gaps suck,no body lines line up, and on two tones, it ****s up the two tone line :/

yours looks great though, much siiiick

Damn I'm so jealous right now, that looks awesome paul, awesome. Now everything I'll do to those fenders to try and keep the tires inside will never look as great as this.
