    Looking good Chris,
It's Soo hard to fit large diameter exhaust under te27, the over axle section is the hardest.
My first exhaust years ago, was 2" overaxle and it bumped!
    2.5" is super tight!
Good to see you working on the car again, it's good for the soul.

I had to do the exact same thing to my motor mount when I mocked in the turbo manifold.

It's really nice to see such quality work being done on an old Toyota like this. Kudos to you, sir.

I think auto-X was today, there were people there auto-xing anyways.

I didn't get to talk to you, but did you blow an intercooler hose off or something?

Lol, no Sean the gasket between the manifold and adapter plate and also the one between the turbo and adapter plate got very hot and pushed out. Minor fix and it'll be back.

So yeah, first day on the track with turbo. Got one run in, gasket fail, limped home. Love it!

Ran low 7psi of boost and conservative tune with conservative driving. Watch the latter part of the vid for non-turbo versus turbo pace difference.

Big thanks to Ryan (Toastboy) who stayed at the shop late the other night waiting with a truck in case I needed a tow back.

very nice, sounds awesome. I gave up on turbo gaskets after a while. Use copper or nothing at all. I just made sure mine were machined true and I have no leaks at all. I have a very non standard turbo so didn't feel like making my own out of sheet copper.

Yeah thats one problem. The manifold has a very unique ct20 proprietary toyota flange. Unless someone has a part number from down under, I make have to punch something out of copper sheets.
