haha, you know the engine puller and the car have to match in order for it to work properly

Anyways Last night I got the engine striped down almost, Im using Mr.Johns(club4ag) idea and using the 16v water pump etc.. so a little work needs to be done on the head. While Im there I might aswell clean everything up to.

While I was stripping it down there were a couple nice surprises. First I don't know if this is good or not but a different timing belt, It says "power" on it lol. I think Kevin (aeboi) said it is made by gatorback or something, I dunno.

Next two surprises were pretty sweet I pulled the tranny off and found a exedy clutch, then a while later wwhen I took off the cluth I found a Toda flywheel, Score!

Definite score on the flywheel but Exedy is the OEM for our clutches. Not that it's a bad thing, it's a very good thing, but it should be the clutch that's there.

exedy makes a bunch of different clutches for different performance levels.

if you have a standard looking clutch disc then its probably a stage 1

if its a 3 puck then its a stage 2 like here

    http://www.technotoytuning.com/racing/

    looking good so far

use that clutch and flywheel. will work good on a stock 20v. be sure to get a pilot bearing and might as well change the throw out bearing if its worn at all.

Even the OEM exedy clutches are great.

They supply OEM Clutches to 8 different manufacturers.

    you lucky *%$#@&

you are going to be absolutely amazed when your car is done. lightweight flywheel + cusco mounts make the car soo nice to bag on. you can shift the car as hard as you want and it just seems to love it. not to mention you'll have 20V power. our cars will be similar except that mine has stock flywheel and I have a silvertop. But I've dropped a lot of weight from my car and ditched my power steering... a race would be interesting.
