I like the headlights but Im just not big on the bumper, In my opinion you should cut the buckets out and put them on a better bumper cover

It looks like the bumper sags down in the front, from the side view

who gives a moo what people think. you built your car for yourself. not so some kids on driftwest can drool over it, right?

my corolla truck failed hard. your ute conversion turned out sick. diamond plated bed and some paint. plus your new bumper is sick. $hit is done, no turning back.

    - you can get a 3M transluscent red vinyl to cover your tails if you still want to. get the 3M Scotchcal ones coz they're thinner and less prone to cracking. you can also heat it up while applying to contour the shape better.

    - if i'm not mistaken the vinyl you used were made by R tape Corporation (www.rtape.com), that's a very very hard vinyl to apply coz of it's thickness and being a non-conform vinyl. did you get the proper squeegee when you bought the 2 rolls?

Quinn.. i have some carbon fibre vinyl here i can give you, hehehe!

I just used my hands to apply the vinyl, no tools at all.

That's why it turned out so bad.

Put the other bumper on it, paint it up decent, and put a cover over the truck bed and it'll look dope.

don't just quit, take some time and just clean up the areas that bother you. The car is kick ass, just needs some elbow grease.

Problem is the whole car bothers me, especially the back half.
I only bought this so I would have something for the drift season, it has served its purpose.
Now I want to get a car I actually want.

Yeah dude, the same cop pulled me over two days in a row recently.
A week before that a cop was asking me where I drift my "weird looking drift car"

I need a freakin low profile car. I thought the vinyl would lower the heatscore and the bumper brought it right back up.

No one is gonna miss the truck dude, it's not gonna pass as an el camino. You can paint it anyway you like but until there's another one in your area, you're basically screwed.

Scrap the bumper and keep the lights and just drive it. Get something more low profile to drift on the street.

ok guys, sorry for the roller coaster, but I have finally been re inspired.
I have figured out the reasons why I dislike the cartruck and am on the path to correction.
Hopefully I can make the japaneseutegods proud yet.

Yo, If i had 4 G'z laying around, I'd definitley take this off your hands. I think its awesome. I've seen it around town so many times, even at auto value the other day. lol. Only if school didnt cost so much.

Oh btw, can you hook me up with some of that vinyl stuff? My ae92 is needing a paint job, and the vinyl looks more awesome than spray bombs.
