Yeah 10mm spacers for the rear. Might have to do some camber adjustment mods to the rear control arms if i want to keep it that low and not blow through tires. Going to rebuild the rear end with a kit from Weir Performance and maybe put some taller gears in while i'm at it. Then it's FCD and boost control until i can collect the parts to do a quality single turbo conversion. 375whp would be good enough for me I think. Cams will be first on my list. It's pretty good and quick as is. Just have to see how it stacks up against some current production douche-mobiles.

I'm looking for a high flow cat to put in my Celica because street car and kittens. So far The vibrant stainless core unit looks good but does anybody know of better/cheaper options? Is it worth it to go stainless over ceramic core?

Bought one of these. Got it for a price i could not pass up. Problem is... auto. Plan to make it a drift missile for maximum cheap. I'm not going to do a seperate build thread for it on here because this is a Toyota site. If i put a 1UZ in it then I'll make a thread. I still haven't seen the car in person. Apparently it's decent.

That's also my canoe, and that little bit of roof you can see in front of the 240 is Johnny the 1J Celica.

I'm going to put it on my celica supra wheels painted bronze. 14s look kind of silly on a 240 but for the offset improvement i'm in. Should be easy to spin too.

    Here is a pic of a 240 on 14s.

Yeah, I'm glad it's a pignose. I need to finally build something to take out and slide without care. I think i'll ghetto KA-T it, coilovers, welded diff, and call her good.

I was in Forestry. B.Sc. Forest Sciences. Good luck on the engineering degree. Seems pretty intense.

I've been accumulating some parts for a thrash during the brief time I will be in the Fraser Valley before moving back to the Island. I want to get the car to a state where I will feel comfortable driving it up to Campbell River in Mayish. Mainly getting the trans tunnel sealed up around the shifter, getting the wiring harness routed into the interior cleanly, and installing the new cable speedo cable adapter into the trans. I want to get some black high heat paint on the exhaust too. No tips on the muffler, just black it all out. Plus I want to be able to keep tabs on the engine.

    In the mail:
Cheap Autogage analog gauge pod, dunno how I will mount them yet but mounting them in the sunvisor area has crossed my mind if it does not interfere with sight lines to much and the sender lines are long enough. And it would have to look cleanish from both in and out of the car. Stupid? could be.

Matching boost Gauge to replace the voltimeter.

    Parts in the shop:

    Pads and lines

    Calipers

She's going, no worries there. I should have got some video while I was test driving around Christmas time.

Went to ICBC yesterday and got some new papers for it because after sitting 3 years I lost the regi for it. I need my truck to move to the island with, then next time I come back to the mainland I'll drop the truck and take the Celica over. I'll probs bring it down to Cap D, whether I take it on the track or not is still up for debate.

Got my speedo working which confirms that this car is quick. Same rear end ratio as the Soarer but smaller wheel and tire height so it may be reading a little fast. I'll have to confirm with my GPS speedo app. Also got water temp working and the charging systems working properly. Seems like at may have been an internal short in the Alt after all. The oil pressure guage in dash and the tach don't work with the stock 1JZ voltage ranges.

Getting a voltage draw from teh computer so i have to figure out what was hooked to 12v constant that was supposed to be switched.

Also going to install my aftermarket guages today.

^ Yeah that is definately a big part of it. Supra would have made for a much easier swap. This car is a fair bit lighter though.

Today I got my boost and oil pressure guages plumbed and almost all of the dash back together. I also found a non AC air duct at the wrecker so i can have my blower and heater working properly. I also found some of the annoyig little clips that hole the rear quarter glass lower trim in place so those pieces are on now. Shifter was also cut and rewelded to make it straight and get rid of the wonky soared bends. PS pump is leaking a bit, so I hav to adress that still, and a wire to the ECU is hooked up as 12v constant instead of switched so there is a small draw. Easy fix.
