BOV will likely be near the throttle body. Placing one near the turbo wouldn't be hard though, just pointed down inside the bumper.

And there is a difference between metallic paint and bass boat metal flake.

    Haters? What?

I made the decision to get a different race car for this season since the Corolla isn't going to be done in time. I'm still working on it and all of the stuff is at my house now, but there is a ways to go. I intend to have the engine and fuel system in and running as well as all of the interior body work, fuel cell enclosure, etc. done by May 1.

sitting in the back of the shop that Matt and myself have, i want to make manifolds from scratch for it, and maybe redo the engine mount on the passenger side to allow for more room to put the downpipe. also have a better v-band flange for the downpipe so it doesn't move as much.

but nothing new has actually happened with it for a while. But don't worry, we will be working on it in this season in hopes of it driving under its own power.

+1 for the V-8, but I am really curious how it will handle, and what the weight balance will end up like.
you can't afford to not put her in your trunk.

With marriage coming in June I'm realigning my racing priorities. This will be my last season drifting the GTO and I'll be concentrating on finishing the Corolla now. I just kept getting myself into too many projects, so I've decided to get a little more concise with the plans. The fiancee will keep doing her karting, so I'll keep going with my racing as well. Will likely get into karting myself in the next year or two as well, even if only helping more when her and her family run their karting weekends.

Time for GTO to sell and me to get serious on finishing this car. It has been way too long. ****, I've even bought another Corolla in the meantime that will become my ice racer/rallycrosser.

Sadly, it's just sitting in the garage buried in parts right now. I'd like to keep building, but unfortunately this whole unemployment thing is getting in the way.

Plus this guy is taking up most of my time/money now.
