Big Country Customs, I think they only come in 4.5" BS. Ya they make nice wheels...the fake beadlock ring actually bolts on with real bolts. lol

This one I got for free.

    FREE.

1989 Toyota Pickup Extended cab 4x4 with 5spd.

It has 200,700 miles on it and the head gasket was replaced 10k miles ago. Then the timing chain snapped during startup so the previous owner took it apart and had the head planed and valves replaced. He was putting it back together for the second time and couldn't get the fuel to stop leaking at the engine and improperly rerouted the engine harness around the intake side of the engine so the knock sensor is not able to connect. He said he paid $1k for it a few years ago and said he got his money's worth and has had enough of the truck. All I had to do was pick it up. There was a battery and one spark wire missing so I towed it home last night, put it together this morning and it started right up!

I was supposed to return his tires (used for 10k miles) but he decided to sell them to me for $400 (he paid $635 including mount and balance) since I couldnt find a better deal.

    Stupid low budget plans:

    Get e-brake fixed.
    Find cheap lift kit items.

    **** YES. That's a deal.

I didn't really care about lifting my truck but ended up doing it by ways of using 265/70/17's on factory Tacoma wheels (had to install 4.56 diffs). Pretty sure the truck sits higher than stock Tacoma's right now.

    22RE trucks are the best

What's your paint code, Clay? I've wanted to paint my truck bright red since day 1. I'm thinking I'll likely just do Toyota's Absolutely Red which is the same as the Matrix/IS300/others, but I'm curious what you've got there. It's purdy.

At first glance, I saw the pic before reading your post and thought, "well that's a small barbecue."

^ huh? I want to see more pictures of your truck.

I think it's just standard super fade red. It was pink when i bought it then i gave it a cut polish. Saturation on the photo might make it look a little brighter too. This summer is going to be time to replace the box side and fenders i think.
