    front strut assembly

    hey im having a little problem with the top nut that bolts the insert down. i can line everything up but the seat and the insert just spins around when i tighten the nut. i know theres suppose to be some kind of sst to hold it but is there another way? the whole assembly is just sitting in my garage right now

    use an impact gun lol

    i hold the upper plate to hold teh shock shaft steady so i can gun the nut on... sometimes i use a rag wrapped around teh upper plate to hold it, and then tie a stick to it... ghetto, but it works... only had to do that once tho...
    VZN185 - 32" BFG AT, OME suspension, ARB bumper, lightforce lights, TRD trans cooler, TRD exhaust, AMT sliders, budbuilt plates...
    ZN6 - stock with HIDs and LEDs...

    that sounds better but i dont have an impact gun, im even more ghetto-er. do you know any other way to do it with just hand tools?

    re awakening this thread with a new problem.... how would i remove the cartridge? just remove the hex head?
