    Edmunds Starter & Alternator

I just want to say +1,000,000 to these guys! They do FREE delivery to Langley, TO YOUR DOOR. Even Road Side Assistance! He quoted me an insanely cheap price, I don't see why I'd go anywhere else. I went to Lordco to buy an alternator and he got me the WRONG ONE. So now I need to get my refund back. But still, this is incredible service and I am absolutely ecstatic about doing business with them.

Anyone who needs their Alternator and/or Starter fixed, GO TO EDMUNDS. These guys are TOP NOTCH.

    Cheers!

Brighouse was less than $100 with tax, but they didn't deliver. Same with starters...less than $100. I suggested they get a coffee card type thing going where every ten starters and altenators I get rebuilt there, I get a free one done...lol

brighouse has a decent reputation... but they're a bit far away for me...

edmonds on broadway is VERY close to my work... they had some quality issues with bearings about 5-6 years ago, and they had one very whiny (electrical whine) alternator about 8 months ago, but they were happy to take care of both issues...

only thing i can't stand about most starter/alternator shops is that they paint the body of the alternator... i just wish they fixed it... i don't like the paint...

Just got off the phone with one of the guys from Edmonds Starters and Alternators. I was having issues with the battery light coming on and thought it might be a problem with the battery or alternator.

After discussing the issues over the phone I was told the problem was not with the alternator and was likely an electrical issue. He saved me a trip out to their shop and likely a lot of money since I don't know anything about cars and could easily have been ripped off.

He also recommended 5 different mechanics who could take a look at my car and ended the conversation by offering to show me how to check the voltmeter myself if I wanted to come by the shop so that I would know how to diagnose battery/alternator problems in the future. I really appreciated the time he took explaining the problem and helping me find a solution! Although I didn't actually need to go to the shop this time, I will definitely bring my car there if I have starter or alternator problems in the future.
