I was dealing with grounds, frame rails to ground...

Edit: When I get home at 430, me and Visean are going to try and tune the car, start to finish, for tomorrow morning...

    not quite ready. Soon tho.

These Cams and ITBs are not liking Speed Density tuning. Switched it over to Alpha-n tuning tonight with a hypothetical map which has gotten it out of the super lean on mid throttle. Since I'm going from scratch now It will take some street tuning before getting to the dyno.

I forgot to bring the LC1 cable. So I will set it up soon so we can Data log with the wideband.

Excited to see what this thing will do!!

Hey warren, I was wondering how high was ur car with the hks? did you had to put it at max hight with the stock spring and with preload? I just did the same set up in my car but my wheels are tucked half a fingure and i have a little bit of preload on the spring. however i'm running a 8kg swift spring.

I'm running 10kg that are preloaded and have a bunch of dead coils, so I am guessing they are about 12kg now. They were about 2/3rds of the way up the threads, but now I am dropping them down a lot. Which will loose some of the pre-compression. = good thing.

Yeah i want to run low pre load but then my sub frame is super low about 2-3 inch clearance. i think I'll see if any one makes strut spacers and try that way

So the alternator is not the problem. Tried it in seans car same with the ecu.

I replaced the segment of wiring that you pointed out chris, now there is no resistance... but she still spikes.

its three wires. use paperclips and alligator clips to back probe and make new good connections. if you test the three wires as good then its something else. i assume you swapped alternators already?

So I checked the engine ground. Pulled it off and cleaned and then checked it. It's good. Same with the battery ground and the harness ground that bolts to the intake. The two brown ones. It's also fine. What other ones are there that would effect the alt? I'm no wirist, help a simple guy out

Anyone have any ideas or know of any other grounds to check?

As of right now I know of the following grounds and they all check out.

    Chassis to battery
    engine to chassis
    fuel rail to chassis
    hasness to fuel rail

what other ones are there to check?

Isn't there one from th starter? Theres a ground behind the head. I know there's one from the tranny, but you didn't remove the tranny? So that one should be good
