    Migs' 1986 Corolla GT-S Hatchback

Everyone else has one of these threads, so I might as well join in...

442,743km ... One of the only original parts is the transmission.

To anyone who doesn't believe that driving one of these cars every day for years and years isn't a feat in itself, I only have one thing to say: Try it.

This car has seen both Oceans...twice. It's Zenki front bumper being installed on the side of the PCH in California, to a timing belt being installed on a side road in Savannah Ga.

I placed 5th with it in a major amateur drifting competion in Chicago Il., and drove it down a floating wooden dock in Whitefish Mt just to say I did it...twice.

It earned it's keep as a pizza delivery vehicle when I started College, and never let me down while driving over 200kms a day to get to work at in the GTA.

With this car I have outstanding speeding tickets in Washington, Montana, BC, Ontario and Alberta. On one birthday I took the car completely sideways around a corner to find a police checkstop and a shocked police officer waiting for me in the middle of the road. That was one of two times the car has been impounded.

Parts for this car have been amassed directly and indirectly from the US, Japan, the UK, Australia and Bermuda. Each piece with a story to tell.

I'll be posting lots more (I've had it for over 9 years), but I'll start with just a couple pics for now:

Many people make claims about nice and clean AE86's in AB...

But yours is my favorite Migs. Plus you're so OG with your bent antenna and black eyelids.

You replace your window trim yet?

Looks like you lost some paint when it went too, that sucks.

    Great pics as always!

Which wheels are you running these days?

That's a real engine? I thought it was a band-aid for pseudo 240sx owners who just wanted to hang out with the cooler car crew

I'll likely pick up a 20v eventually, but I'm in no rush
