Those usually have very built 3tc's in them, and nice locked diffs. But they often convert back to recirculating ball steering for some reason, it's nuts. Such oddly setup cars.
That was actually airtime's old race car. They put an AE92 body on a TE chassis. And no Quinn, they usually don't have locked diffs because tire stagger plays too important a role if you lock up the rear on an oval track. It had the supra diff in it too, and if they have the same engine in it, it's a maxed out over bore 3TC with a specially made head gasket (the engine might have even been sleeved, I can't remember exactly). I heard the island ministocks are going pro4 next year. I couldn't understand why some of them had the resirc ball either, but was told by some it's because they are stronger. Pffft whatever, they add nearly 20 pounds to the front of the car.

Right, it's the legend/dwarf cars that use the locked Corolla diffs.
While hunting for a drift car, I spotted a stock red 86 sr5 coupe in a parking lot near my place(east van). The girl who owns it was eventually looking to sell it so I gave her my number. She called me today, saying she's ready to sell it now. I've already found a car so this one's up for grabs. I'm not sure of the details but there was medium rocker panel rust and it had some issues passing aircare. She's asking $500obo Call: Jessica at 778-867-5404.
