    Tight tight, weir recommends .012" on their 4.78 gear set I have. For heat and oil? Seams like alot. I've had it at .009" for ever. It's loud now in my 86, but it's been abused for years now.
    Which is huge, stock Gts is .006? Or something like?
    No hammer is a good theory, all new bearings and solid spacer will also help a lot.

    No hammer yet, it all fits? trans and starter means pull hole thing, I'm ok with that.

    When I had a 4.778 I set it at like .010" because weir says like .012" and that didn't feel right, even .010" felt so ****ing loose. It howled like crazy after a summer.

    Now running stock 4.30 at like .006" and it's holding up pretty good with the added power from the turbo (touching wood !!!)

    mk2 supra crossmember with a auto trands bit welded to the back.... The bolt spacing from side to side is the same!

    Anyone know or have a throttle cable that is longer than gts? I need one asap, don.t really have time to make a bike one.
