    Senior Potatobread assembled the dif. Zenki 6.7 with a weird full spool. Maybe it wont blow up? for a bit. We decided on 5 thou backlash, tight, less hammering, less boom? we will see. New bearings, New seal.

    Less room for heat and oil as well. It might open up a tiny bit as the bearings wear in.

    As a poorly informed guess-a-holic I'm just looking at other diffs that don't explode. From the factory they are all set tighter. So that and wheel hop breaking things is all I'm basing this off. Less slop, less hammer. I don't care if the gears wear out and get loud, as long as it doesn't explode.

    It is at the bottom end of spec, should be just fine. Fun fact, my Miata 4.3 is .0036 to .0043. Ultra tight by comparison.
