    7.1" ???

I'm with you on the weight problem... I didn't want to go bigger than 6.38" and I worked really hard to be able to do something with it (lack of parts and crap).

Seriously, did you manage to get the solid spacer in there? Cause it's supposed to handle a great amount of torque if setup correctly... or maybe your R/P had seen better days already. If I were you, I'd take the 6.7 apart, reshim a solid spacer to reduce backlash even more and slap a 4.1 while at it...

Maybe I'll take **** for this...
I set my backlash to just touching/zero. After a couple days of clutch kicks it comes right into spec.

They are already setup freaking loose from the factory anyway. Even more if you give them hell.

I drive like a ****ing clown, it works for me and my buddies. On an average 3rd gear bank I will go on and off the ebrake 2-3 times, back to 100~km/h wheel speed. I can drive smoother, but it's never as competitive and fast.

That is all bedside the point, the car needs to be strong enough for how I drive it. Plus I want to go up in power and tire size...

    7.1. Hahhaaha. Weakest ever.

First time Joel set it up it was .004"-.005" backlash, the. One event and it was .012". We set it back up at .005". There is a comp on Friday, my ears will do a before and after.

And devin if that works it works, I'm mine loosens off I might give that a go.

    Yes I do.

7.5 is too much unsprung weight. A 6.7 already rides ruff and can't follow the ground.

On my way out to penticton we stop at Indy Speed to meet up with some folk, somehow my car accidentally ended up on the dyno... My guess tune produced 180hp/150ftbls, and was breaking up at 6500. Also a little knock at 3~ at 90-110kpa.

A little timing rearrange and it made over 200, then we pulled it back to 200hp/168ftlbs. Sweet.

Yeah pretty jazzed on the flat torque, once the lungs get going...

On the coaq with the car fully loaded going 150 it's still pulls super easy up all the gnarly hills.

Now post the damn timing table ! hahahaha

Did you tighten the **** out of the big threaded adjusters on both side of the diff ? There's a good bunch of flex in those, I want to produce a girdle some day like on a Tundra diff to strenghten it.

A n/a fc3s has a similarly sized diff, but the casing supports the bearings so they can't really flex, they run tighter backlash and hold a good bit of power...
