would your shop be willing to take on a manual rack install job? I think you did it on your car already right? its not something I want to tackle on my own, and I wouldnt mind paying you to help get it in the car.
I got cash ready for the last couple parts i need for my manual rack. all i need to buy is power inner and outer tie rods ( im going to buy clamp style moog ones from lordco i think), adapter bushing(probably t3 or adam turbo or maybe you have a fabrication option), and tercel u joint. i go to vancouver kinna often cause my gf's parents live there.

also need stock lower control arms extended and ill be using stock RCAs.

Ghetto Garage has just finished up on the very first customer's car. It was an automatic to manual conversion on Duy's SR5 to GTS swap. I think if you were to ask him, he was pleasantly surprised at how well it went, and cheaper than he thought.
Okay...ready for the next customer...bring it!

Want to try widening wheels? It would take some trial and error, but I'll donate some wheels that can be butchered for the cause. Just an idea. I bet there would be a few locals that would like a set of 14x10 supras.

but yeah really well done, your ghetto garage title is misleading because you actually spent time and put effort into making sure everything was done properly. id recommend anyone to trevors, its worth the drive... and if u cant drive i think trevor knows a pretty cheap toe truck driver

I'm racking my brain to find wheels to re-barrel into 16x8 - maybe a set of supras???

/\ except there isn't such a thing as 16" supras. Someday I will have aluminum welding abilities...maybe get set up with a TIG.

You don't have to tig weld to weld aluminum. It can be done mig with great success (check out a horse trailer or certain flat decks). You need a bottle of argon, a roll of aluminum wire, a teflon liner or a spool gun and a lot of patience at first... the setup is very finicky! It's also nice if you can set some pre and post flow. Having said all that, I wouldn't weld a barrel on an aluminum rim... that's just crazy... sure certain repairs (small cracks, curb rash)... but a whole barrel... we've all seen the picture of the rotas with the centre section still attached to the hub and the barrel no where to be found. Also most aluminum rims are cast... and for that you need to tig, with a special rod.... like soudotec 75... that's what I use, however I've heard of arctech making some stuff that's really good too. good luck with this venture Trevor, I know you'll do well!!
