so i got some **** straightened out with the wagon..

Lowering the nose makes it run better.. im not sure why but it idles more often now.. wierd.

put some led dash lights in it, kinda weak tho there not nearly as bright as i was told they would be.. damn ebay.

But on a plus side i was thinking i want to throw in an oil cooler, and i found out the one im my supra works so out it came, im kinda lazy so i will fab it up soon. but to know its gonna work is kinda sweet..

7mgte, pulled it from the motor, the sandwich plate you speak of. is that the part that would go on where my filter was..

if so then ya, pulled the filter off, and undid the piece the filter threads to. The plate i guess it is, bolts to where the filter was, everything looks like it lined up golden on my spare 3tc, and i made sure the thread pitch was right...

now i got to use a ford filter or some ****, but oh well. im stoked on it at least, trying to figure out where to locate it for now, im thinking behind the lower valence

You have a running/driving car, put that new carb on it, a cam...set it up properly and beat the living **** out of it, this is a typical beater in decent shape not a show car, have some fun, dont be afraid to crash it theres always another shell out there.

odds of finding another wagon shell as clean as the one i have, and for as cheap as i got it, is never ever going to happen.... And a carb and a cam will help, but its not gonna be a 2jzgte lol. damn albertans and your money

What do you mean by "get away with" putting the carb on? It is a huge step forwards from the stock carb even on a stock 3tc.
