imo, s-chassis cars are cool, cheap, cheap parts, super easy to drift
it pretty much came down to these two cars as well for me before i got my corolla
i had a lame civic before that was too modern and boring
why did i get a corolla over an s13?
    - i like to go for cars that aren't everywhere
    - my dad used to own one before i was born
    - i love the raw mechanical feeling of 80s toyotas
yeah corollas a slow as **** and parts are expensive/hard to find but it makes it more fun i think
sourcing parts from other people and pick and pulls are interesting
i enjoy the fact you can improvise and use parts from other cars as well

the only draw back for me is that my mom constantly talks about how ill be crushed like a tin can if i ever get into an accident

It takes more skill, money, and time; but at the end of the day I'm happy as hell in my Corolla. It's more a lifestyle than anything really.
/\ +1 im w/ spence on that last one

not much to add to whats already been said....in short my AE86 is my first car and ive been working on it ever since the day that i got it. at the latest of hours, during the worst weather conditions in the most unexpected places...but thats how it goes. love driving it thou....

Corollas are about as gay as Chris' tramp stamp. Stay away.

go with something different cause you'll just be another 240 at a drift event otherwise

Drifting a 240 is like taking a spelling bee while holding a dictionary.

You either have a real urge to learn how to drive... Or you wanna be just another asshole who takes the shortcut

Buy a Corolla or get the hell of this board. Thank you
