cut off the mac strut brackets, then treat it like a front X or E chassis coilover. cut strut tube, weld.

the x8 strut towers have dimples in them that match up with s13 patter. drill em out and done.

now that BC makes X8 coilovers, i will eventually order their x8 top hats.

Whats your plan for the transmission setup on the 1uz? I'm going to be doing one of these swaps soon and was planning on w58 w/adapter plate and the throwout bearing/slave cylinder combo for inside the bellhousing.

Very nice build starting here. If I may suggest, hammer all of that sound deadening out of your car before you put the carpet back. That stuff weighs a ton. And the stock muffler + resonator. Lose it all for a 300lb weight loss program.

^ do not remove the sound deadening. I did it in my rolla and eventually came to hate the car. I have full interior and sound deadening in my cressi and there is no other way for an X chassis to be. The answer to making a cressida awesome is not to remove the luxo-barge accouterments but to add mad horsepowerz.

1uzfeswapkit.com for the w58 adapter plate and hydro throwout kit.

quantum auto for flywheel/clutch (for the moment)

the guy at 1uzfeswapkit is working on a flywheel clutch combo, but the flywheels aren't ready yet. if you need the setup soon, just order a quantum fly/clutch.

its already all out. the goal with the car is to make it as light as i can. the hvac is all out and the AC ducting is out. i even removed the small heater ducting thats screwed onto the dashboard.

it won't be a DD, that's for sure. I have a tercel for that .
