whats the quality on those, for 70 bucks having a complete set of portable tools would be nice when im doing things on the road
hmmmm after careful inspection im not sure if its worth it, princess auto sells socket sets for like 15 bucks 1/2" drive 11 - 27 mm impact. if you look around for the 3/8" drive set and a couple of ratchets you end up around 70 $ aswell
Ya they are pretty good... I don't abuse my tool but I use them for what they SHOULD be able to handle... And I have pulled VERY hard on the 3/8 socket and I have destroyed the rusted nuts everytime in a junkyard and it is still a tight rachet... ( I am also 5'11" 210 lbs and not a fatty so I can tug on them) BUT i have never used a cheater bar on them (if u do and break it shame on u not it)... The black Crome on Stanley tools is sexy but will wear Off to just shiny crome as well but hey again it's a tool as for princess auto well they have never made a screwdriver that I would trust not to strip a screw out... If you want princess auto get their breaker bars and hammers... But that's just my opinion I like to by a tool once... Ever
pretty damn good deal but i too dislike how the black wears off. great starter kit for someone or good to keep in your trunk.

Stanley, Mac Tools, Black and Decker..... same thing....
this set and the channellock blue set is always on sale at ctire...channellock makes great tools, but i think its a different company that makes there sockets. it will be my next cheap set to try, ive heard good things: extensions break but the sockets are properly sized (a 12mm is accually a 12mm etc)
I got one, I'm quite happy with it.
there was a 300 piece set for 100 bucks which i got (taxes in),
right now theres a 130 piece for 69.99 as well
have the 130 set i think. Black does wear off but i abuse my tools with cheater bars all the time and never had an issue. all tight as a fiddle after a couple years. Even use some of the sockets with impact guns and never broken one yet
these are much nicer to use than PA tools. Less slip because the sockets are cut more precise
damn thats not bad eh.. i think ima pick that up this weekend :O
