Got my Hilux Surf back on the road... Completely rebuilt 2LTE. Rebuilt CT20 running 12 psi. 3" turbo-back exhaust straight pipe, new batteries/alternator/starter. EGT, boost, and water temp gauges, 24" LED light bar, Toyo GSi5 winter tires.

I have to trim console to fit them how I want, just behind the "power ECU" button

built a Swiss catch can hahah

$50 in parts ($20 water bottle!)

6" tube is attached to the inlet on the inside so it doesn't vent direct across to the outlet, stuffed with stainless steel wool.

That is a pretty cool catch can, I assume you can just drain it by taking the lid off the bottom?

Yeah! I think it's going to do very well for me... I'll just clean it out with every oil change.

I have a Saikou-Michi baffled catch can on my MR2 and I drain it every 2-3 weeks. Every oil change may be too long of an interval. Just something to think about.

I like that catch can so much, I'm going to try and make my own variation of it! What did you use to seal those tubes in? Is that JB weld, or one of those putty sealers?

JB weld putty, you cut the amount you need, and then kneed it with your hands and apply.
