1985 RA64 Celica Turbo (Hatch) - Minty clean, Fully Built ★☆

Up for sale is my girlfriend's 85 RA64 Celica Turbo (Hatch). This is a highly modified street car that has seen a lot of time, money, & care put into it.
The entire vehicle is composed of high quality, functional parts, with excellent fit, finish, installation & purpose. Many of these components have been
custom fabricated for ideal fit/finish + integration. She is only selling to move onto a new chassis. This is not a hack-job, junk yard turbo set up. This
is truly a "complete package", including fully built / forged motor (right down to custom oil squirters), SDS full stand-alone engine management, beautiful
equal length tubular exhaust manifold, massive Spearco intercooler core with proper shrouding (custom built out of light weight aluminum), custom
hammer-finished 2.5" mandrel bent boost piping, full 304 Stainless Steel 3" turbo-back exhaust system (3" mandrel bent downpipe, 3" straight pipe with
axle-back dump), 7.5" Supra LSD-equipped rear end + rear disk brake assemblies, Custom 1-piece light weight drive shaft, 16x8J ARE (manufactured by Enkei,
Made in Japan) 2 piece meshies (polished lips, silver faces) wrapped in 245/45/R16 Sumitomo HTRZ II's, etc.

This has been an absolutely phenomenal car for her. She's driven it from Edmonton to Vancouver many times, with no issues. This has been her daily (summer)
driver, taking her to work & back, as well as weekend / evening cruises, & 'spirited' mountain driving. In that time, we've cleaned up a lot, modified
a number of components, did a complete mechanical refresher, as well as implemented some new additions.

Absolute blast to drive. Sounds unbelievable at idle, & better yet under WOT load. Pulls very, very hard, has no problem throwing out the rear, lighting up tires, &
    getting you into trouble.

    Ran a 12.9 second 1/4 mile time @ 111 MPH @ 10 PSI.

For most of her ownership, it's been run off the wastegate spring (7 PSI). Currently tuned running 12 PSI.

Both of us will be very sad to see this thing go.

Haha, thanks man! She's really enjoyed owning it. She's pretty choked about selling it, but she's going back to school and stepped into a cheaper old Honda to free up some cash. Buyer will not be disappointed with this thing.

Thanks guys. The car definitely has roots. It's also definitely in it's most capable / well maintained revision at the moment.

I'd love to see this go to a true enthusiast, and not just someone looking for something fast/RWD. Have had a lot of interest in it, but nothing has solidified yet. There's some flexibility on the price, so if you're interested throw me an offer and we can talk.

Thanks for the good words, guys. Have had continuous interest, but no one's ponied up any cash yet.

However, courtesy of some ****ing dumbass, I'm dropping the price. My girlfriend was driving the speed limit along the main road that runs along our place. Some hero decides to tailgate her, getting pretty upset that he couldn't teleport in front of her instead of just changing lanes to speed around her. He ends up flooring it, attempts to swerve around her, and clipped her rear tail light. So, now we're dealing with the insurance logistics of having it repaired.

Damage is strictly cosmetic. I would repair this for her immediately, but ICBC has stated they will revoke the claim immediately if it's altered in any way. So it's a waiting game for that route. I just don't want to waste my time, money, and resources fast-tracking a solution for someone else's mistake, and in turn letting this idiot off easy.

The damage includes the rear LH tail light assembly, as well as the left rear side marker. There is no damage to the bumper assembly. This is strictly cosmetic damage from him loosely clipping her as he tried his maneuver.

    New pricing options:

AS IS - $9,600 - (can include the necessary lighting assemblies if buyer is interested)

REPAIRED PRIOR TO PURCHASE - $9,900

For anyone interested, the grease ball tried to bolt. Running 3 red lights in the process, but luckily my girlfriend (as well as another witness) got his plate number and he's been charged. ICBC just moves painfully slowly on claims, as some of you may already know.

*Will post some updated photos of the current damage.

    Picture of the damage:

This should be fixed by this week; finally delt with ICBC. I have new lights already. As you can see it is strictly cosmetic.

Price is at $8700 dropped only because I got into school and would like to see this in it's new home sooner than later.

And here is a Red Panda because I think they are super cute.

If there's on thing I can appreciate living in Alberta rather than BC, is not having to deal with ICBC. They scare me.

GLWS. All these cheaps on DK don't seem realize the amount of money that's needed to build a car like this from the ground up..
