Did some more work this weekend. New seals and wheel bearings, and reassembled my rear end. Made some subframe spacers, reworked the mount locations on the subframe.

So here is the finalized location of the engine. This is where it will sit. Belhousing alllmost fits. Just need a bit more BFHing.

    Subframe spacers

    Subframage

    Engine set

    subframe clearance

    Does it clear the hood?

    Yes

looks great, E70's must have bigger engine bays than 86's, because i didnt have that much space at the rad support, and you didnt cut your rad support out to get your engine in

Yeah, it can drop straight down. Without trans or bellhousing attached.

Very nice man. What transmission are you using? And what adapter/flywheel/clutch/etc. did you get?

    It's a natural reaction.

@Serendipity, yes i made the LCAs myself. The adjustable rear arms cost about $40 to make. Plus $110 for a bushing kit for the whole car. LCAs were basically free to Make.

@Chewy, i found it on CL in Langley. There were a couple at the time.

Didn't find any specs. Haven't seen piobread's writeup either. Just some simple measurement.

I know the info's kickin around somewhere, but where did you order the urethane bushing kit? My car is sloppy as an old basement couch.
