Hey everyone, we've got a whole bunch of board rules that have pretty much gone ignored over the past few years. One of them is the issue of animated GIF's used as signatures.
What are your thoughts?

I vote yes for two reasons. 1. There is no server performance impact or downside. 2. It annoys Migs!

they get annoying... really annoying. Animated avatars aren't bad, big blinky sigs suck. My main issue is you know somebody is going to use a GIF of a girls boobs... now don;t get me wrong I love boobs as much as the next guy... however it means no more DK surfing at work for me.

But ya, nudity/pornography will never be allowed, this is only about animated GIF's.
If the animated GIF's are voted to be allowed, I'm gonna find the stupidest most annoying GIF possible.....FYI hahaha

I voted No, because people have bad taste generally. Some are really annoying, and what if someone has a seizure? Is DK liable? lol

Omg really? No it's not just Devin. Many people have and or had animated gif's here on DK.
This has to do with board rules and what is and isn't acceptable now and in the future. If you guys don't care about animated GIF's then the board rules will be re-written because we look stupid having rules that simply go ignored.
Think beyond the epicenter of Devin's online persona and make a decision based on what you want to happen here on DK.
