    Fuel System Upgrade

I've got an '86 SR5 that I'll eventually be swapping an EFI engine into, and my Fuel System needs to be upgraded. I wanted to know if I could do the upgrade before I swapped engines without causing any problems. Here's what parts I'm working with:

    -Walbro GSS-307 (255LPH)
    -1/2" Braided Inlet Line
    -1/4" Braided Return Line
    -Kinsler Fuel Filter
    -A Fuel Pressure Regulator

    Questions:
Is there a way I can at least install the lines, and can my stock Mechanical Fuel Pump maintain enough pressure in the larger ID Inlet line?
-Will it cause any problems to install the Electric Fuel Pump as long as I install a FPR that's adjustable between 5-15 PSI?

its not worth the time or money to try and get a 255 pump to run carbs. just do it all at once, fuel is one of the easy parts of a swap.

Waste of $ to spend money on a fpr for carb pressures.

I can't recall if the fuel pump hanger is the same for GTS as SR5?

Thanks for the advice. The fuel pump hanger is different between SR5 and GTS, but they both bolt to the tank.

Again you will burn out a high pressure pump running it at such low psi. Just buy a low pressure pump then return it and say they gave you the wrong one! Haha.
