    Knox Mtn Hill Climb

Thought I would add a short clip of one of my runs up the hill. This was at turn three. I goofed the entry and that screwed my exit. If you look at the front, I already did the same thing once before. The white gate in the background created the "minor" dent.
My best time up the hill was 2:17 and that was after the dent.

This is a fantastic event and I recommend coming to either run your vehicle or to be a volunteer.

Dave and i had a awesome time. we are sharing the car and we ran new hoosier autocross tires. Dave went faster but I was unable to beat my time from last year. 2:12's last year, this year 2:13.0. I feel like corner speeds are higher but straight speeds are lower, tires too sticky? anyone else have the same issue with sticky tires?

You should get a quaife quick ratio gearset and a manual rack! Also steer early, steer often.

I want to go to this event so badly but always miss it.

I started building my mango so many years ago, just to run this event. My wife is from Kelowna, and this is the first year I missed it! Stupid race licence, never have figured out how to get it other than ice racing

There are schools held by WCMA affiliated clubs that can get you your road racing license. I believe there is one this weekend at castrol Raceway in Edmonton

Finished downloading all the in car video. Now have to edit and will post a couple when done.
All I can add is that it is one of the best ways to spend two days of racing. Gary and I had a great time with great crew and fellow racers.
